Position Summary:
As an Electronic Systems Engineer 4, you will guide the successful completion of major engineering programs and engage in research supporting Gulfstream's development and production. Your expertise will be crucial in resolving complex engineering issues and innovating in areas of considerable scope and complexity.
Key Responsibilities:
Complex Issue Resolution: Select methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to address complex engineering issues.
Technical Authority: Serve as a recognized authority within the field, consulted extensively by associates and others.
Innovative Solutions: Anticipate and resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways, developing standards and guides for diverse engineering activities.
Strategic Approach: Balance technical product, cost, and schedule considerations in problem-solving.
Independent Work: Operate with latitude in determining technical objectives, making authoritative decisions and recommendations.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in engineering or a related technical field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: 10 years of experience in a specific technical discipline or 15 years of broad engineering experience across several disciplines.
Technical Skills: Advanced degree in engineering or a related curriculum is preferred.
Specialized Skills:
Development Experience: Experience in electronic systems development and integration, including I/O concentration, AFDX networks, or related databus architectures.
Certification Experience: Familiarity with FAA (14 CFR Part 25) and/or EASA (CS-25) certification.
Process Experience: Knowledge of DO-160, DO-178, and DO-254 processes is preferred.
Testing Experience: System integration lab and/or aircraft functional testing and troubleshooting experience is preferred.
Requirements Development: ARP-4754A experience, including requirements development, validation, and verification, is preferred.
Tools: Experience with IBM DOORS or other requirements management tools is preferred.

Pay Details: $77.78 per hour
