Job Title: Exp Tech I - Calibrations
Job Type: Full Time; Consultant
Location: Savannah, GA
Schedule: 1st Shift: 5:45 AM - 4:15 PM, OT Available!
Pay Rate: $25.66 per hour
Unique Skill set
Position will primarily be focused on working within our Calibrations team.
Unique Skills (Calibrations) - Contract
Previous experience with MS Office software - Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
Candidate must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Candidates with previous experience with calibrated tools and instruments will be strongly considered.
• Under direct supervision perform operation activities in support of experimental, structural, and flammability testing.
• Operation activities could utilize skillsets related to sheet metal, instrumentation/electrical, fabrication, calibrations, hydraulic/pneumatics, large structural elements, test execution, etc.
Essential Functions
• Utilizing various skills, assemble and maintain complex test lab fixture and equipment.
• Assemble, inspect, and repair complex test articles and specimens.
• Assist with test executions.
• Comply with safety rules and procedures. Use protective equipment as required and be alert for unsafe conditions. Address unsafe conditions before putting people or property at risk.
• Begin to learn the experimental test process and internal lab SOPs and WMs.
• Learn various systems and capabilities used throughout the lab.
Pay Details: $25.66 per hour
