Overview:

PDS Tech Commercial Inc is actively seeking a QC Inspector I to join our dynamic team in Tulsa, OK. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in quality inspection or manufacturing who are eager to contribute to high-quality aerospace production.

Job Details:

  • Pay Rate: $32.19 per hour

Position Summary:

The QC Inspector I is responsible for ensuring that all aircraft parts, sub-assemblies, major assemblies, and installations comply with the required design data through detailed inspections and quality assurance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Inspection and Verification: Perform detailed inspections using engineering drawings, orders, route cards, inspection travelers, work instructions, and technical specifications.

  2. Quality Assurance: Conduct preliminary and progressive inspections of aircraft structures and systems, ensuring functional operation and quality. Perform final inspections and verify compliance with all required standards.

  3. Conformity Inspections: Execute conformity and first article inspections in line with FAA approved procedures.

  4. Tool and Equipment Management: Manage and store tools and equipment appropriately, ensuring all items are accounted for and maintained.

  5. Safety and Compliance: Enhance the health and safety environment by participating in safety-related event investigations, reporting hazards, and suggesting control measures.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to manufacturing personnel to enhance production quality.

  • Perform area inspections to ensure compliance with applicable standards and specifications.

  • Engage in continuous improvement activities to enhance production processes and safety measures.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year quality inspection experience, or 2 years GAC manufacturing experience. Additional aerospace manufacturing experience is preferred.

  • Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering documents and technical specifications. Familiarity with CATIA or blueprint reading is necessary.

  • Certifications: Completion of a Formal Inspection Training Program (90 days) is required.

Pay Details: $32.19 per hour
