PDS Tech Inc Product Manager in Allen, Texas

PDS Tech is seeking a Product Manager in Dallas, TX (REMOTE)

Summary:

The Base management team is responsible for executing proactive customer retention plans to minimize product churn and retain revenue for the Consumer segment.This position is critical to the monthly promo roll process. Responsible for pulling and validating lead files, preparing analytics/customer data for pre and post treatment processes, responsible for assessing revenue retention and managing budget/forecast initiatives for the team.

Job Descriptions:

• Manipulate large data files

• Accurately & quickly pinpoint trends, anomalies and opportunities

• Succinctly summarize results

• Translate insights into actionable plans

• Build simple & complex business impact analyses and forecasts

Responsibilities:

• Lead results reporting and analysis related to expiring promotion offers & discounts, capturing aggregate and key metric performance

o Integrate and matrix results across related activity (i.e. call volumes, offer utilization rates)

o Support strategic planning & customer experience improvements through targeted analyses

• Manage expiring discount financial forecast, model enhancements and data assumptions

• Support base management scrum team, retention plans and service simplification through ad hoc analyses

• Maintain data integrity through core team and cross functional validation

Typical Day:

• Run queries/data pulls

• Analyze customer profile data – billing, CLV, propensity etc.

• Meet with key stakeholders to audit, validate and assess customer trends

• Prepare forecasts

• Attend planning and scrum team meetings

• Work with department Director daily

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required, preferably related to business or marketing analytics, financial or strategic planning, or pricing strategy & analytics

• 5+ years experience in subscription industry, preferably Telecommunications

o Prefer strong understanding of services billing, pre-billing, service & equipment codes

• Intimate knowledge of key analytics tools & processes

o Prefer experience with Data query, manipulation and/or visualization tools (i.e. Sql, Alteryx, Tableau)

o Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with retention business performance drivers – churn, recurring revenue/wallet share, upsell, operating expense

• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect quickly and credibly in a virtual environment

• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven with a passion for delivering the optimal customer experience

• 5+ years experience in subscription industry, preferably Telecommunications

o Prefer strong understanding of services billing, pre-billing, service & equipment codes

• Knowledge of Frontier DPI billing system and EDW tables

• Intimate knowledge of key analytics tools & processes

o Prefer experience with Data query, manipulation and/or visualization tools (i.e. Sql, Alteryx, Tableau)

o Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel

• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect quickly and credibly in a virtual environment

• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven with a passion for delivering the optimal customer experience.
