PDS Tech Inc is seeking an Employee Communications Contractor

Other employee communication contractor requirements:

  • Establish, promote and protect a healthy company culture

  • Responsible for creating and measuring results of an annual internal communication strategy in conjunction with MarComm leadership

  • Ensure organizational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders

  • Work cross functionally with sectors and divisions to understand and proactively identify program, communication, marketing and business development needs for internal customers

  • Plan, edit and write content aligned to the annual strategy for a variety of internal communication mediums, such as a segment intranet, digital signs, pulse point surveys, or regular email bulletins. May also be required to work on the layout of content

  • Ensure internal communication messages and brand are consistent with external communication messages and different departments within L3Harris

  • Keep internal clients abreast of campaign progress and answer their questions

  • Regularly storyboard or translate ideas to the creative team of designers

  • Respond to feedback from staff and adjust communication content accordingly

  • Pleasant, positive and exhibits a professional demeanor under sometimes-stressful environments, a trusted advisor who fulfills commitments

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and always willing to take the initiative to create something new when required

  • Maintain a “can do” attitude and is one who is flexible and able to move from project to project as priorities change

  • Maintain a tracker of every project assigned and completed with maintain measures of effectiveness (MoEs) and measures of performance (MoP)

  • Partnering with the creative team to develop segment, sectors and divisional stories

  • Education, Background and Experience

  • Bachelor of Arts or Science in Communications, Journalism or related field

  • Corporate Aerospace, Aviation and/or Defense background preferred

  • 5+ years of corporate-level experience
