We are looking for an Aerospace Mechanic to help assemble the Aircraft.
As an Aerospace Mechanic you will joining a team that will be assembling the world’s first fully electric airplane.
This position will require the entire structure build from component level to complete rigging and preparing the airplane for first flight. This will be a fast-paced position but will require great attention to detail.
Assemble and install electrical, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural components and accessories, using hand tools and power tools.
Perform installation of detail, structures and systems components in accordance with engineering specifications, maintenance, and installation and quality directives.
Understanding of how to use multiple hand measure and calibrating tools such as “calipers, micrometers laser measuring tools. Etc.
Must read and understand detail / assembly / installation drawings
Detail-oriented personality and troubleshooting skills
Interiors experience a plus
Experience in working with composite materials, drilling, repairing and assembling.
Catia or Enovia experience considered a plus
Airframe and power plant preferred but not required
Physical ability to work within confined spaces
Ability to thrive in a dynamic fast-paced company
Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to be resourceful, and the ability to exercise creative thinking
Ability to travel as needed
International work experience is a plus
