PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a Senior Applications Developer

Job Summary:

• The Senior Applications Developer performs duties and tasks to support full systems life cycle management (e.g., analyses, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, implementation of systems and applications software, etc.)

• . This position collaborates with teams to support the achievement of objectives and to ensure effective communication.

• The developer provides development, maintenance, and support for applications.

Job Duties:

• This position designs, develops, and implements advanced technology solutions that help customers manage processes in the areas of internal auditing, SOX testing, compliance and records management.

• This resource will help to adapt legacy ColdFusion applications so that they use Azure authentication, comply with Custom Security Policy (CSP) and other web vulnerabilities.

• Additionally, modifications to legacy applications as appropriate may be developed to user specifications.

• Finally, the developer provides support for applications.

Other Duties:

• Analyzes, designs, codes, tests, and documents programs to develop and/or update application software.

• Identify and work with all affected groups and functions to support project impact

• Research trends and best practices; develop industry knowledge and expertise

• Makes decisions about prioritizing or planning own work

• Technical Problem Solving and Analytical Processes

• Maintains and applies specific knowledge of information systems elements

• Resolution of incidents and problems throughout the information system lifecycle, including classification, prioritization, initiation of action, documentation of root causes, and implementation of remedies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree

• Must be proficient in the following technologies:

• HTML

• CSS

• Javascript

• ColdFusion

• T-SQL

• Azure authentication implementation knowledge

• Web development in compliance of CSP requirements.

• Minimum of five years’ of technology design and implementation experience
