PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager, in Austin, TX.
Broad expertise or unique knowledge of Bid reviews and responses particularly for the Public Sector.
Outside the box thinker with the ability to assess current and develop and implement future business processes.
Apply analytical skills to rationalize change and resolve a variety of highly complex issues in creative and effective ways.
Build strong partnerships across for the client to continuously improve the customers buying experience with the client while maintaining a positive work environment while optimizing performance within the Bids team.
Maintain and update the Vendor Registration Database, Vendor registrations, customer records and Award status (30, 45, 60, 90 day process).
Manage change. Implement new ideas effectively with the client culture, influence decisions and change management through collaboration, leadership and a customer-focused approach.
Flexibility to work after hours or weekends, when required (depends on customers due date and availability of content providers, as well as the complexity of the RFP response).
Travel 15% - Typically to other clients campuses.
Must have prior experience managing bid opportunities and/or facilitating projects.
Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in project management or sales environment.
Ability to work independently and self motivated.
Demonstrates strong verbal and written communications skills.
Demonstrates good judgement in selecting methods and technique for obtaining solutions.
Leadership and ability to guide cross-functional teams.
Desktop publishing, editing and proofreading skills/background are considered a plus.
