PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a Sales Representative, in Austin, TX.

Summary:

Review and initiate Sales Exception requests that has direct financial impact to client, customers and resellers. SEA submission examples are:

  1. RESELLER: Sales program sell through validation & claims, distributor programs, returns and reporting verification

  2. Following up with the customer as necessary to ensure a timely and positive customer experience

  • Will be handling inbound and outbound email correspondence that may be as high as 100 a day. Must be efficient in email correspondence and etiquette. SONAR experience or other comparable departmental communication system experience desirable.

  • May be asked to cross reference and enter data into a CRM or PRM tool (SalesForce.com experience a plus)

  • Develop, review and maintain process/procedure/policy documents for the Sales Admin team.

  • Create quotes and respond to RFQ's without T's & C's - This may be both proactive and reactive, but primarily will be responding to customer inquiries via email. Where appropriate for larger sized opportunities, the Sales Admin will escalate to the appropriate account executive for review.

  • Identify and develop solutions for program compliance gaps, especially for pricing and claim verification.

  • Must be able to create reporting that demonstrates the utilization rate of Sales Administration communication tools.

  • Assist in coordinating supporting documentation, and implementing processes developed to provide the efficient and accurate customer transactions.

Ensure that Field & Inside sales teams have the tools and processes to successfully execute the programs, including but not limited to:

  1. Program process documentation

  2. Sales AE training

  3. Flowchart review

  4. Customer template deployment & training

Ensure that Internal team processes are leveraged in an efficient cross-functional manner throughout the business, including but not limited to:

  1. Effective use and protection of confidential client information

  2. Consistently training of customers and sales to use approved reporting templates & preferred communication conduits.

  3. Sales compliance & reporting

  • Participate in regular Sales Team calls.

  • Organize & lead conference calls as needed with customers and/or sales to resolve customer issues, provide training or roll out new processes & templates.

  • Must be comfortable interfacing with internal leadership and external customers.

  • Partner with various internal client teams as needed to answer questions, help solve challenges, and work on process and policy improvements.

Education, Experience, and/or Skills required:

3+ years industry experience encompassing:

  1. Sales support, administration or pre-sales activities.

  2. Preferably containing at least 2+ years working with a Sales, Marketing or Sales Finance team.

  3. Preferred industries include Technology, Telecommunications, Distribution or F1000 companies.

  • BA/BS preferred

  • Program, Project or Process management experience a plus

  • Experience working directly with sales, understanding common sales terms and methodologies.

  • Strong business acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Mac OS experience desired

  • Business Travel may be required (up to once a quarter.
