6-month contract with possible extensions. Must be a US Citizen qualify Or Green Card Holder to qualify.

About the Role:

In this role, you'll help monitor technology responsible for processing batch jobs and core services. You will influence the success of the companies across the globe. Members of the Production Control team are experts in building new tasks to process on Windows 2008 and 2012 and providing break fix support for applications.

Position will be part of a team that provides critical batch processing support, working as a functional member across multiple team units to achieve success.

Provides entry to intermediate level monitoring and troubleshooting for operating equipment for Windows 2008/2012 and 24x365 adherence to operational procedures, checklists, policies, and national IT Best Practices.

Able to be on-call and work overtime.

•Listens to customers and asks the appropriate questions to determine their requirements.

•Performs intermediate level troubleshooting of systems and servers related to host systems, middleware, applications, and existing tools according to established procedures with minimal supervision.

•Appropriately coordinates, executes, validates, tracks, follows up on, and escalates internal and external customer requests according to established guidelines.

•Submits recommendations to create and/or maintain operational procedures and checklists.

•Supports local testing policies and procedures

•Participates in individual professional development by completing assigned development plan, participating in mentoring activities, tracking and reporting of development, and communicating career path goals and objectives.

•Provides training to other operators through free flow of information, encouraging and appropriately evaluating feedback, encouraging innovation, and inspiring / motivating others.

Education:

•Associates degree in Computer Science, or total job experience will be considered as an equivalent.

•Bachelors degree in Computer Science preferred

Required Qualifications:

•Deep experience in Windows 2008 R2 and Windows server 2012 R2

•Experience in a multi-domain environment

•Experience implementing automated tasks on Windows 2008 and Windows 2012

•Good command of FTP software

•Excellent verbal and written Communication skills

•Ability to write and update concise and logical documentation

•Able to communicate efficiently with management

•Able to work with team members, at all levels, decision makers, and stakeholders to define business requirements and system goals and to identify and resolve business batch processing issues timely.

•Windows certification is a plus.
