PDS Tech Inc Construction Project Manager in Bellevue, Washington
Project Types: 3 projects:
1 community college in Spokane (replacing building transformers & installing power meters)
1 community college in Spokane -same campus (replacing a chiller &building controls)
1 school in Moscow, Idaho (installing new controls & equipment)
Supervises all aspects of turnkey jobsite activities, from beginning to end, with direct responsibility for project supervision while leading a team of subcontractors, to accomplish specific objectives in a given time frame and with available resources.
Able to manage multiple vendors and multiple subcontractors; May work underneath a Project Manager level 3 or 4 on a large Complex Solutions project.
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for working with project manager on scheduling various subcontractors and maintain project schedule developed by project manager, daily reporting, on-site safety requirements and management of all subcontractors.
Accountable for jobsite safety, holding subcontractors accountable for their work, regular communication with on-site customer representatives and Trane project manager.
Preferred candidate will have a high level of knowledge on mechanical systems and have experience managing subcontractors, dealing with conflict and have excellent communication skills.
Meets with contractors and owners to discuss scope of project; budgets; performance; and close-out. Ensures compliance with internal contracting processes.
**Bach (preferred) and 3-5+ years of Commercial Construction PM experience
**Any HVAC/Chiller systems are a HUGE plus
**Experience with budgets, timelines and delegating work
High School Diploma
5 years + of experience of construction industry experience
Prior Site Superintendent experience
Must have a general working knowledge of basic engineering, electricity, mechanical HVAC systems, and safety of building construction industry.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and ability to utilize Microsoft Project to review/revise project schedules.
Excellent communication skills (Verbal & written) as this is a customer facing role
NICE TO HAVE
Familiarity with the operation of energy management systems, HVAC systems, temperature controls, and process control systems is preferred.
Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management preferred
