PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a Quality Inspector in Beltsville, MD.
Detail oriented team player, reliability in quality of work associated to performing a variety of inspection tasks, ability to read and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications. Do not want someone who performs metrics processing/analysis of data. Our quick react team is in need of someone who will roll up their sleeves, handle multiple types of aerospace hardware, and perform the required verification of product. They must also be computer literate to perform data base entry to complete electronic processing. Team/Environment: Small manufacturing environment with expertise in the aerospace arena of processing complex electronic assemblies and harnesses. We build snowflakes this is not a production environment.

Perform visual inspection of incoming raw materials, EEE parts, bare PWB and miscellaneous hardware items.
Handle Electrostatic Discharge Sensitive Devices in accordance with established ESD Control Plan.
Verify objective evidence exists with the shipment of the associated hardware items; Certificate of Conformance ( C of C), test data, first article inspection data, etc. conforms to PO requirements.
Perform review and verification of flight qualified and ground system electronics in compliance with specifications, engineering drawings and internal AS9100 established procedures.
Initiate Non- Conformance Reports (NCR) annotating discrepancies noted.
Support quick turnaround manufacturing operations associated to circuit card assembly, surface mount, through hole assembly, heat sink bonding, polymerics, box assembly. cable and harness assembly.
Other duties as assigned. NASA-STD- 8739 and J-STD-001
Certifications Required, TIP QA and COSTPOINT proficient preferred.
