PDS Tech Inc Structural Analysis Engineer in Bradenton, Florida

PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a Structral Analysis Engineer, in Sterling Heights, MI.

  • A senior mechanical or a structural engineer with minimum 5 years of Finite Element Analysis experience to perform linear and non-linear analyses.

  • Candidates must be fully competent in the area of implicate finite element modeling and analysis using LS-DYNA, and Altair’s HyperWorks suite. Proficiency in MSC Nastran and ANSYS is a plus but not required.

  • In addition, candidates need to have excellent oral and written communication skills, and must be able to work effectively in a team environment. C

  • andidate with an MSME is desired, however not required.

  • Consideration will also be given to strong BS candidates in mechanical or civil engineering with a focus on structural design and analysis and a minimum of 5 years work experience in this area.

  • Candidate should have good working and theoretical knowledge of static, dynamic, shock, and vibration analysis.

Skills Preferred

  • Building quality complex shell and solid models of components including full vehicle chassis system models.

Experience Required

  • 2 to 5 years with MSME or min 3 years with BS

Experience Preferred

  • 3 to 5 years with MSME, or min 5 years with BS.

  • Previous experience with Military Tracked vehicles are a plus.

  • Experience with fast pace, and fast turnaround of solving structural manufacturing and design related issues is beneficial.

Education Required

  • BS or MS in structures or Mechanical

  • MSME
