PDS Tech Inc. is seeking a HR Operations Specialist I, Broomfield, CO

As an HR Operations Specialist, you’ll be learning and assisting with identifying business continuous improvement opportunities and related actions in order to mitigate risks, improve compliance and enhance our process efficiencies. You will help identify gaps in current business processes, assess the efficiencies of operations, analyze internal controls for weaknesses and formulate recommendations for process improvements. Your duties will also include supporting the identification of key business process management solutions, coordinating with HRIS for automation within HR systems to align with policy and process, facilitating our process and system updates with cross-functional teams, and documenting formal business policies, processes, and procedures in a clear and concise manner to support ease of use and understanding.

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and typically 0-2 years of relevant experience.

  • Relevant work experience may substitute for required education.

  • Higher education may be considered in lieu of relevant experience

  • Basic understanding of HR practices, principles, and techniques

  • Familiarity with data analysis tools, including Excel

  • Exposure to HR management systems

  • Basic knowledge of laws and regulations governing HR, Employment, and EEO Compliance


  • Experience with Workday

  • Experience in a call center or as a data entry clerk

  • Knowledge of Federal Contracting Regulations (CAS, FAR/DFARS)

  • Understanding of process improvement and audit procedures and techniques

  • Experience with Government reporting (EEO-1, VETS, AAP, etc.)

  • Knowledge and experience with process documentation and gap analysis procedure
