PDS TECH Commercial is looking for a Simulator Operator Engineer for our Motorsports client in Brownsburg, Indiana.
On Site - One Year+ CONTRACT Assignment
Looking for...
o Basic Knowledge of vehicle dynamics principles
o Good Data Analysis skills (PI Toolbox preferred)
o B asic Knowledge of CAN Stream / PI Toolset
o Advanced Reporting skills
o Good organizational skills
These skills are necessary for the simulator operator position but not sufficient to necessary evolve into a Performance Engineer.
The additional skills needed for that evolution of the Operator position into a Performance Engineer would be:
o Advanced Knowledge of vehicle dynamics
o Advanced Data Analysis skills
o Solid understanding of Tires physics
o Good programming skills ( MATLAB preferred
REQUIRES....
BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, with an emphasis in Vehicle dynamics.
1 to 3 years’ experience with Formula SAE/BAJA/Hybrid or similar automotive or motorsports related projects
Must have the ability to work in team environment with minimal supervision, be self-directed, detailed oriented who can effectively work well under pressure in a diverse environment.
Rate: $30 - $40.50/Hr

Pay Details: $30.00 to $40.50 per hour
