Job Title: Administrative Construction Manager - OSP

Location: Bryan, TX

Job Summary: Join our dynamic team as an Administrative Construction Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in overseeing Outside Plant (OSP) construction activities executed by contractors. Your leadership will ensure that projects not only meet rigorous quality standards but are also completed on time and within budget. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including local municipalities and utility departments, to drive project success and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee contractor performance to ensure alignment with OSP construction standards and quality benchmarks.

  • Coordinate permitting requirements, including Work Zone Protection (WZP) and Traffic Control Plans (TCP).

  • Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring timelines are met.

  • Conduct thorough pre- and post-construction inspections to maintain project integrity.

  • Manage materials efficiently, ensuring accurate reporting of invoices and timesheets.

  • Maintain detailed records, including as-builts and project documentation.

  • Participate in pre-construction meetings to align all stakeholders.

  • Monitor project expenditures to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.

  • Investigate and report on any plant damage incidents.

Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of OSP construction standards, practices, and unit descriptions.

  • Familiarity with state, local, and company safety regulations.

  • A minimum of five years of experience in OSP construction and splicing.

  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extended driving and lifting moderately heavy objects.

  • Flexibility to work overtime and be on-call for nights and weekends.

  • Willingness to travel overnight as necessary.

  • Valid driver’s license is essential.

Pay Details: $43.10 to $46.18 per hour
