T&O Customer Marketing Specialist

Position Purpose:

The Turf & Ornamentals Customer Marketing Specialists supports the activation of integrated marketing activation tactics promoting the client Environmental Science US T&O brands and business. This position interacts closely with the T&O Marketing Communications Manager, Product Marketing Team, Customer Marketing Managers, the commercial and technical teams and third party agencies to implement the approved tactics and projects.

Major Tasks & Responsibilities:

Support the T&O Customer Marketing Managers and T&O MarCom manager in the successful activation of marketing plans for each of the T&O Market Segments - -Lawn, Golf and Ornamentals. Own key initiatives assigned to the role and aligned with achieving key T&O priorities.

Commercialization of New Products- Collaborate with Customer Marketing Manager to execute commercialization plans for new products being introduced into the T&O space.

Life Cycle Management – Partner with Customer Marketing Managers to manage product life cycle initiatives such as phase out of existing products

Measurement/KPIs – Partner with Customer Marketing Manager, MarCom Manager and 1:1 Business Team to set targets and measure effectiveness of activations.

1:1 Marketing – Support the one-to-one marketing implementation by interacting with third party agencies and client stakeholders to develop and deploy customized content for customers through digital, email, or printed tactics.

Collateral and Printed Sales Materials – Assist in developing sales support materials such as product brochures, sell sheets, and product information sheets. This includes working with internal stakeholders and business partners to prepare content, stewarding collateral through legal and regulatory review process and final preparation of printed and print-on-demand materials for use by the sales team, customers and for appropriate placement on the client website.

Tradeshow & Events – Support tradeshows and events as appropriate to meet the business needs.

Digital & Social Media – Help implement the digital and social media programs including email marketing, Twitter, client website content updates, and pay per click and search engine optimization.

Skills Needed:

• Multi-task effectively and meet deadlines

• Ability to function well in a matrix management environment, and interact successfully with people from various disciplines and functions

• Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
