Job Summary:
FPGA Engineer (DO-254 experience REQUIRED)
Role Overview:
The Avionics Complex Device team is searching for a Principal/Staff/Senior level FPGA Engineer with aerospace or DO-254 experience to join our team.
This position will be responsible for supporting the design, verification, and certification of graphics and video processing FPGAs for display applications.
We lead the industry with cost competitive, innovative technology that sets us apart from our competition and helps our customers make the most of their investment in our products.
We have a large and growing team of talented design and verification engineers, but need additional support from someone with DO-254 experience to help ensure tasks are proceeding as needed to meet customer commitments.
We are responsible for designing products for both commercial and military avionics as well as ground vehicles.
We are looking for a passionate problem solver with experience in development, verification, and/or certification of complex devices that need to abide by the guidance of DO-254.
Primary Responsibilities:
RTL coding and simulation in VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog.
Create placement and timing constraints.
Perform synthesis, place and route.
Perform static timing analysis, linting analysis, and clock-domain-crossing analysis.
Create DO-254 DAL-A certification artifacts for Airborne Electronic Hardware (AEH).
Conduct and/or participate in peer reviews throughout product lifecycle.
Perform simulation verification activities to satisfy the objectives of DO-254 using UVM and System Verilog
