PDS Tech Inc Quality Technician in Chester, Pennsylvania

Description

  • Collection of finished product samples for routine daily testing

  • Complete required paper/product laboratory testing.

-- Tracking and reporting of test results

-- Quality Administrative help in office with Document Control

Candidate must be capable of:

  • Working 8 hour days, Monday through Friday, but exact work time can be flexible depending on the candidate‚Äôs needs with allowable start time as early as 6 AM and as late as 9 AM.

  • Two paid 20 minute breaks per day (morning and afternoon) and paid lunch break of 30 minutes if staying on-site.

  • Infrequent lifting of weights of varying amounts up to 35 lbs.

  • Overhead reaching/lifting with weights as much as 15 lbs.

  • Standing up to 6 hours/shift

  • Sitting at workstation doing testing for up to 6 hours per shift

  • Working around high-speed production equipment

  • Working with sensitive laboratory testing equipment

  • Performing weekly calibrations on the equipment

  • Reading and comprehending technical training materials and other job related materials

  • Required to wear ANSI-approved safety shoes, hearing protection, eye protection, and other safety devices.

  • Periodic Sample collection from operating floor. Requires Facility Safety Training completion

  • Demonstrating basic computer skills; ideally possessing a working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Candidates must have some sort of lab experience/ background (Biology, Science, etc.) and preferably someone who has worked in a manufacturing environment/ is comfortable around manufacturing. **This role is onsite, but has flexible hours as needed

In addition to the above, this temporary testing associate must be capable of working in a fast pace environment with frequent priority and deadline changes. Candidates must be capable of communicating and functioning in both a team environment as well as independently
