PDS Tech is currently recruiting for a Quality Specialist in Chula Vista, CA!
Job Title: Quality Specialist
Job Type: Full time; Consultant (12 months)
Location: Chula Vista, CA 91910
Schedule: Monday to Friday; 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $36.00 per hour
- Due to government regulations this position is open only to US Citizens.
Job Overview:
The Quality Specialist will focus on ensuring the highest level of quality assurance by conducting tooling supplier assessments, processing payments, and managing site quality records. The role will support tooling-related metrology activities and participate in quality improvement initiatives, including compliance with AS9100 / AS9102 standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform assessments and audits for tooling suppliers to ensure compliance.
Process payments for tooling suppliers and resolve any associated issues.
Review and update Standard Work for processes and metrology systems.
Maintain site quality records, metrics, and databases.
Provide ongoing support for metrology activities related to tooling.
Conduct software testing, data analysis, and provide training as needed.
Support quality requirements, improvement initiatives, and ensure adherence to AS9100 / AS9102 standards.
Qualifications:
Ability to work independently with strong project management skills.
Proficiency in technical writing and software applications such as Word, Excel, and VBA.
Experience in process planning and analysis.
Background in quality, manufacturing, or production, with strong problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of CAD systems is a plus.

Pay Details: $36.00 per hour
