HR-Instructional Designer

Job Description: This individual will lead, design, and develop training and instructional materials. Additional responsibilities will include updates and management of existing curriculum.

Need extensive eLearning creation experience preferably in Articulate.


•Manage the instructional design process from needs analysis through completion

•Collaborate with subject matter experts to analyze learning needs as well as identify any deficiencies or gaps in knowledge, skills, attitudes, or competencies required to perform job-related tasks effectively

•Create content that meets clearly defined objectives and competency requirements

•Apply adult learning theory to produce interactive and relevant content

•Develop content outlines, scripts, and detailed storyboards for modules

•Work cross-functionally with the Facilitators to apply a variety of learning techniques to determine appropriate media for coursework

•Design course materials, instructor and student guides, job aids, and reference materials

•Evaluate quality and effectiveness of learning programs and curriculum


•Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional design or related field, preferably working in the mortgage industry

•A minimum of 5 years proven experience in instructional design

•Experience designing blended learning solutions with equal expertise in designing instructor led and eLearning courses

•A portfolio of work and employment references available for review

•Working knowledge of eLearning tools and software

•Ability to work individually with subject matter experts to design and develop appropriate learning content with minimal supervision Expertise with Microsoft Office required

•Attention to detail in producing, writing and proofing all coursework materials to ensure consistency in form, format, and function

•Experience using Learning Management Systems

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
