PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a Digital Merchandising Capabilities Specialist in Cupertino, CA.
The Digital Merchandising Capabilities Specialist (Contractor) will play a key role within the Global Digital Experience & Merchandising team in driving the development, adoption and expansion of Merchandising capabilities across the Apple Store Online.
The right candidate must have demonstrated ability in analyzing and identifying a prioritized approach to Application enhancements to meet the needs of the wider team. Obsessing over both the internal and customer facing experiences.
Additionally, excellent skills in creating supporting material, providing software training, and user
acceptance testing are essential for success.
The right candidate can build relationships to ease the introduction new features and workflows.
This role is highly collaborative and we are looking for an experienced candidate with an owner mindset to deliver flawless experiences. This is a 12 month contract role.
Partner with multiple teams to co-ordinate rollout of capabilities, such as personalization, to our digital real estate. From defining schedules to confirming capabilities work as expected and configuring setup within internal applications.
Partner with Digital Merchandisers, Product Management and Digital Content Management to integrate business priorities and strategies across digital platforms and touch points.
Influence others to establish and protect workflows, minimizing risk and driving efficiencies, to ensure success.
Orchestrate user acceptance testing for the capabilities you help to deliver.
Define the most efficient approach to testing, manage the timeline, set up tests and successfully execute them.
Be a Merchandising capabilities subject matter expert, advising team members of best practices and tactics for implementation.
Assist in resolving setup conflicts that can arise due to shifting timelines, and multiple concurrent projects.
Craft educational materials and carry out engaging training sessions for merchandising users of our Applications to ease onboarding and drive adoption.
Analyze existing data and workflow practices to inform requirements for capabilities.
Troubleshoot issues discovered during both major releases and business as usual.
Assist in validation of content to ensure optimal experiences and resolve issues.
Assist in user experience reviews for new features to drive efficiencies for the team.

Education & Experience:
- BA/BS required, MBA a plus
- Occasional meetings with peers in Asia and Europe during overlapping business hours.
