Join the AIML team at our company
Our companies AIML University team is looking for teaching assistants (TAs) to collaborate with course facilitators in supporting our companies internal AI Education program.
This role will allow the candidate to continue to build machine learning expertise, while learning how to motivate others and provide guidance in their education.
Description:
The TA is responsible for collaborating with peers and facilitators in teaching classes, grading assessments, and supporting learning.
This person is also responsible for mentoring and helping learners understand course content.
The TA may also be asked to work on other projects that support AI Education efforts.
Responsibilities:
Assisting course facilitators by helping design courses, prepare materials, and teach students
Hold office hours virtually and in-person. Work with learners one-on-one, and learn about problems they are having with the course materials
Be clear, concise, and effective in written and verbal communications
This is a part-time, 10-hour per week, contractor position.
We are looking for grad students in any department who meet the above qualifications and have 10 hours a week to devote to the program.
Key Qualifications:
Teaching experience (at any level, Teaching Assistantship a plus)
Experience in regression, clustering, and classification model building
Experience with machine learning outside of a classroom setting
Ability to work independently
Proficient in Python
Professional communication and presentation skills
