PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a Health Studies Operations Engineer
Description:
Our company is seeking a Health Studies Operations Engineer to support the design, coordination, execution and monitoring of health studies.
This highly dynamic role drives both early stage investigations and large-scale research projects to develop new health technologies.
The ideal candidate can balance big pictures with attention to detail, has clinical expertise, and autonomously manages projects to deliver fast paced engineering data collection.

Responsibilities include:
Develop enrollment and throughput plans. Manage and communicate project status with cross-functional teams and external vendors. Drive project scoping with research vendors including quotes, contracts, budget management, and invoicing.
Deliver high quality, low cost results Identify and resolve risks to schedule and data quality
Balance multiple projects across geographic regions throughout the globe
Initiate, execute, and report status with keen focus on data quality and schedule
Work closely with engineering partners to define study requirements + research goals to design engineering studies and protocols
Develop study documents like consent forms, statements of work, and SOPs Order, coordinate, and distribute study supplies to researchers
Lead pilot studies and train study personnel on data collection procedures
Directly troubleshoot prototype systems, analyze early findings, and make recommendations to refine or iterate on early stage investigations
Education & Experience
BA/BS or higher in biomedical engineering, life sciences, or research-related discipline.
Minimum 3+ years of experience in health research management, engineering operations, or relevant medical / clinical experience.
Must have 2+ years of experience directly supporting technical operations in a research setting.
Advanced degree or experience analyzing engineering data is a plus, but not required.
Key Qualification:
R&D experience with prototype hardware
Demonstrated ability to design + execute engineering research projects of varying sizes
Troubleshoots hardware and software challenges, analyzes engineering data to make study-level recommendations
Thrives by managing fast paced projects with minimal direction
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Track record of managing vendors or contractors to deliver timely results
Typical Day;
Breakdown of the day: tracking vendor status, troubleshooting, monitoring the project status and, meeting focused, presentation review, installing apps, technical work
Interaction level with the team: high interaction level with teams at our company
Remote/Flexible hours: remote = hybrid (Tuesday-Thursday), flexible hours = 8-5
Extension/Conversion: possibility to extend = yes, conversion = TBD
