PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a Technical Project Manager in Cupertino, CA.

Job Summary

  • The Music Publishing team is looking for a Technical Project Manager who will support our reporting and data needs, production systems and various cross functional expansion initiatives.

Description

  • Project managing operational tasks to support music publishing reporting, production systems and new initiatives

  • Working with cross functional teams to understand program level goals and determine music publishing requirements to meet those goals

  • Supporting business needs for data testing and analysis

  • Identifying data issues and tenaciously working with cross functional teams to resolve them

  • Simultaneously handling multiple lines of work with competing priorities

  • Adapting to emerging and changing operational support requirements

Key Qualifications

  • Proficiency in handling large data files using UNIX shell scripts or interpreted languages

  • Skilled in using a variety of tools (Excel, SQL, scripts, etc.) for data analysis

  • Able to define test cases and perform meticulous UAT

  • Operational experience, ideally within a system that involves royalty payments

  • Accuracy and thorough attention to detail is crucial; able to follow defined processes

  • Outstanding organizational skills; the ability to deliver to a tight timeframe whilst maintaining quality of work

  • Able to collaborate closely with multiple teams, both internally and externally

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Able to focus in on the details whilst also seeing the big picture and being comfortable with a level of ambiguity

  • Flexible and willing to learn about new tools and different procedures; able to work as part of a team

  • Knowledge of managing subscription services is a bonus
