Position Purpose:
Join PDS Tech as an Avionics Installer II, where you will assist in the installation and fabrication of wiring and electrical components on aircraft systems. This role provides an opportunity to work under minimal supervision, offering hands-on experience in avionics and electrical systems within the aviation industry.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics or an avionics certificate from an accredited school and one (1) year of related work experience.
Experience: Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and customer specifications. Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Installation Support: Assists in the installation, modification, and fabrication of wiring and electrical components, fixtures, and associated equipment.
Quality Assurance: Ensures that work accomplished meets regulatory requirements and customer specifications. Verifies quality of work to ensure defect-free assembly prior to final inspection.
Record Keeping: Maintains required logs and records to comply with company and regulatory standards.
Safety and Organization: Adheres to company safety regulations, 5-S program, and Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention protocols. Maintains an orderly work area.
Continuous Improvement: Participates in continuous improvement activities such as YIAW and Kaizen events.
Additional Functions:
Equipment Maintenance: Responsible for the proper care and maintenance of shop equipment and tools as directed by your Supervisor.
Team Collaboration: Works cohesively with team members to enhance the efficiency and quality of operations.
Other Requirements:
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Computer Proficiency: General knowledge of computer software.
Language Skills: Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Pay Details: $30.17 per hour
