PDS Tech Inc Inventory Coord I in Dallas, Texas

PDS Tech is seeking a I for an Inventory Coord I open position in Dallas, TX.

Position Purpose:

  • Under immediate supervision, use established procedures to move parts/material, unload freight, and process pick/delivery tickets.

  • Adhere to all corporate safety and quality standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process pick/delivery tickets by pulling and issuing parts to support Service Center, Spare Parts Sales, Back Shops, ASC and Distribution Allocation.

  • Pick up and move parts/material to Shipping, Manufacturing, Back Shops and other departments. Warehouse parts in compliance with the Material Handling Standards.

  • Unload freight from delivery carriers. Operate material handling equipment and company vehicles as required. Verify paperwork against material received and separate material for delivery to designated users.

  • Assist senior personnel with the inspection, tagging, and identification of all incoming materials, equipment and other products stored in Material Services stockrooms.

  • Demonstrate good housekeeping and safety practices.

  • Package material for shipping in compliance with FAA standards.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.


  • High School Diploma or GED required. College coursework desired.

  • 1 year experience in stockroom/warehousing, material handling, shipping/receiving or transportation; or completion of Technical Certificate in Warehouse Distribution; and/or completion in current year youth apprenticeship program.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain certification to operate material handling equipment and to meet all training requirements.

  • Experience with computerized inventory and familiarly with material handling, inventory or production control processes preferred.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license.

  • May require a DOT physical for Highway driving if applicable.

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

  • Ability to operate fork truck and other material handling equipment.

  • Ability to operate standard office equipment, personal computer, telephone, pager, fax & copier.

  • Must be able to work all shifts and weekends.

  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
