Position: Design Engineer
Full - time w/ benefits
Location: Davenport, Iowa
PDS Tech is a national Engineering and IT Staffing solutions firm that has been around for over 45 years. Design Engineer will design products and/or tooling for a varying range of clients and industries .
Required :
- Min. 3 years mechanical design experience
Desired experience in either of the below areas:
- Heavy/mobile equipment product design experience
(i.e. mechanical systems relative to sheet metal, weldments, machined parts, mechanisms, etc….)
Examples of relevant industry experience = construction/ag/mining/turf equipment, cranes, motorsports, RV industry, heavy truck/trailer, automotive
- Tool / fixture design
(i.e. automated or manual weld and/or assembly fixtures)
Proficient in CAD (i.e. CREO or Solidworks or Autodesk Inventor or Unigraphics NX)
BS Mechanical Engineering degree or related field.
Will consider AAS with strong mechanical design experience.
