PDS Tech Inc Press Brake Operator in De Pere, Wisconsin

Job Overview

Press brake operators produce parts and tools from metal using a press brake, a computer numeric controlled (CNC) piece of equipment that makes precision bends. The use of hand tools, tape measure, converting decimals to fractions, and metric conversions are part of the daily tasks. The use of overhead cranes and forklifts will also be required.


  • Must be able to work at fast pace, follow instructions and be self-motivated

  • Requires excellent math skills including fractions, and geometry

  • Requires ability to read a tape measure, calipers and other tools

  • Requires ability to read blueprints and calculate bend allowances

  • Work independently with minimal supervision

  • Must work well with others

  • Be able to lift up to 40-50 lbs routinely

  • Ability to Stand for 10 hours

  • Ensure and verify material

  • Provide immediate feedback when problems occur

  • Ability to work OT with little notice when required.


  • A technical degree is preferred but not required

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred

  • Must be willing to assist in other areas when needed

  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening, background check & amp; a fit for duty physical assessment.


  • Ideal candidate will have some experience with fabrication or machining

Work Schedule:

3:30pm to 3:30am, Sun-Tues OR Wed-Fri
