AuthentiCare UAT Test Lead

In this role, you will be supporting the development, delivery, and implementation of our AuthentiCare product in a UAT Test Lead role. AuthentiCare is our Electronic Visit Verification solution that helps states reduce costs, minimize fraud, and maximize responsiveness to their Medicaid members, while improving the overall efficiency of their home and community-based services. You will provide leadership to our User Acceptance Testing team, working closely with Business subject matter experts, IT teams and program management to lead and coordinate UAT events to test and verify that the solution meets the requirements set out by Business stakeholders for successful project delivery.


You're the kind of person who thrives in a fast-paced environment. A successful candidate will be passionate about establishing, owning and driving UAT testing activities for assigned projects, resulting in UAT testing events that support and enable successful project deployment. This role could support multiple AuthentiCare implementations at one time and will involve participation in deployments that may involve after hours work. You will need strong written and verbal communication skills that project poise and confidence in your interactions with the client and other team members. This is a remote position.


Minimum of 5 years of as a UAT tester including public sector experience and at least 2 years as a team lead

Functional understanding of the full System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) phases

Ability to make complex decisions and recommendations under limited direction and using high degree of initiative and independent judgment

Ability to triage with other teams (business, SIT, development) to resolve issues

Must possess excellent written and oral communications skills and the ability to clearly define projects, objectives, goals, schedules and assignments and interface regularly with the customer via video and conference calls, emails, and, when necessary and allowable – in person meetings

Assuming responsibility for project tasks and ensuring they are completed in a timely fashion

Capability and willingness to embrace change and quickly adapt to new situations, shifts in direction and priorities, both from a client and internal perspective

Highly Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university

• qTest and Tosca experience (Tricentus tools)


• Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Transaction knowledge and experience

• Medicaid / healthcare knowledge

• Familiarity with Home Based Community Services / Electronic Visit Verification

• Relevant software development and software quality assurance certification(s)
