PDS Tech Inc Administrative Assistant in East Syracuse, New York
PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking an Administrative Assistant, in East Syracuse, NY.
Expert on using data to training models. The models are then used to automate processes like image classification, speech recognition, and market forecasting.
Manage the SYR lab TPM process for all calibration needs throughout Psychrometric, gas heat, and general testing areas.
Working with the site facilities team to aid in managing the deployment of EH&S training process for the department including reviewing, authoring, distributing and following up on training activities for EPA and OSHA compliance.
Manage department SDS database
Publishing office communications for safety awareness in the form of
Coordinating scheduled processes
PIV program administration
Training matrix management
Work with department leadership to deploy continuous improvement actions throughout the laboratory and office environments
Mange office moral activities including supporting social events, office signage, champ award process management, office supply orders and interfacing with facilities for small budgeted office improvement programs.
Order engineering materials through the SAP Ariba system for various groups
Support the review and management of standard work required for UL and ETL 3rd party lab annual certification.
- HS Diploma/GED
Candidates should have good written and verbal communication skills with a technical aptitude for:
Working knowledge of industry and governmental safety standards (OSHA, EPA)
Demonstrated experience in continual process improvement.
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Ability to work with minimal guidance and direction from others.
Excellent follow-up and follow-through skills
Ability to communicate professionally in written and verbal format across a wide audience.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while managing multiple priorities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint
