PDS Tech Inc Drawing Checker in Everett, Washington

PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a Drawing Checker in Everett, WA.


  • Verify engineering drawings to best practices and standards

  • Works with engineering personnel to resolve discrepancies

  • Redline drawings in electronic format and communicates back to engineering team

  • Must be able to work independently and as a team

  • Performs other related tasks as required

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have a solid understanding of Microsoft offices including excel, word, and outlook

  • Must have the ability to read 3D models, drawings, and Bill of Materials

  • Must have excellent communication skills

  • Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and 2-5 years of experience or seven plus years related experience and/or training

  • Fundamental understanding of GD&T Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with NX9

  • Familiarity with Teamcenter Engineering

  • Familiarity with aerospace standards

  • Familiarity with Adobe Pro

Language Skills:

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations

  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to calculate and understand tolerance stack up analysis which involves the concepts of basic algebra and geometry

Reasoning Ability:

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists

  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
