PDS Tech Inc Manufacturing Support in Fairfield, Ohio

PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Support in Fairfield, OH.

Summary:

  • Responsible for assisting the Press Operator in running the production line, including packing finished product, operating finishing equipment, preparing tooling for production, and learning basic press operation.

  • Includes completion of all necessary quality control procedures and documentation.

  • Read and understand order specifications to ensure product is packaged and prepared according to specification.

  • This includes proper packaging, proper wrapping, correct carton quantities, proper skids, correct labeling and correct separation of product according to shipping locations and methods.

  • This position is progressive in nature and is intended to be an apprenticeship with the goal of progressing to the Press Operator level.

  • Cooperation with all Production team members, Scheduling and Shipping are required.

  • Time spent on individual tasks will vary daily depending on staffing and business requirements.

  • Pack finished goods off of the production line. 0-90%.

  • Prepare tooling for production, including die inventory management and basic tooling set up. 0-90%.

  • Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain an orderly environment 5 – 10%.

  • Other duties as assigned 10%.

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED Required.

Experience:

  • Prior experience in manufacturing preferred.

  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude via educational or job experience.

Skills:

  • Basic computer navigation and data entry skills required.

  • Basic to intermediate mechanical skills required.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.

  • Willingness and ability to perform in a fast paced team environment with a variable priorities.
