PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking Credit and Collections I in Wall Township, NJ.

Job Summary:

  • Accountable for collecting the maximum amount of overdue funds from customers, which may include a variety of collection techniques, legal claims, and the selective use of outside collection services.


  • Create and maintain credit history files;

  • Analyze and assess the creditworthiness of account/client using external credit risk management tools/reports;

  • Support the collection efforts/calls for accounts receivable portfolio;

  • Document daily collections activity;

  • Research account disputes and billing discrepancies;

  • Perform account/payment reconciliations;

  • Respond to credit inquiries from external and internal clients;

  • Dentify delinquent accounts requiring external collection efforts;

  • Identify bad debt or financial exposure.

  • Performs all the tasks necessary to pay the obligations of the company in a timely and accurate manner.


  • Processes supplier invoices against authorized purchase orders or check requests.

  • Creation of payment proposals and cash disbursements.

  • Supplier work flow creation.

  • Process payment proposals through Trax.

  • Monthly inter-company reconciliations.

  • Investigate and resolve problems with internal and external suppliers.

  • Process month end reports related to the accounts payable function.

  • File invoices and remittance copies to vendors.

  • Maintains financial security by following internal accounting controls

  • Other duties as assigned by manager


  • Experience: 1-3 years experience.

  • Entry level job with little or no prior relevant work experience

  • Acquires basic skills to perform routine tasks

  • Work is prescribed and completed with little autonomy

  • Works with either close supervision or under clearly defined procedures


  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
