PDS Tech Inc Master Planner - Secret in Fort Worth, Texas

PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a Master Planner, in Fort Worth, TX.

Summary:

  • This position provides Planning/Scheduling support to meet multiple immediate requirements across the client Aeronautics Line of Business.

  • Responsibilities include the development and maintenance of components of the Program Integrated Master Schedule, including proposal schedule development, review/support Statement of Work and Basis of Estimate development.

  • The ideal candidate will drive communication and integration across a variety of program functional organizations such as Engineering, Procurement, Contracts, Business Management, Program Management and Manufacturing.

  • Candidate will need knowledge of Critical Path Methodology and be able to apply it in schedule network development and analysis.

  • This candidate will be able to perform complex schedule analysis and develop recommended courses of action to be delivered to internal and external customers.

  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills to work in a team environment.

  • Possess ability to prepare status reports, metrics and make presentations as required.

  • Must be outgoing, energetic, self-starter, flexible and demonstrate Program Planning and Scheduling hands on experience.

  • Additional responsibilities will be assigned as required.

Desired Skills:

  • Microsoft Project and/or Open Plan Experience, Milestones Professional Experience, Proven Planning and Scheduling Expertise, Demonstrated Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Experience, DCMA Health Metrics/Data Driven Metrics Knowledge.

  • Aerospace/Aviation, Program Master Planning/Scheduling Experience (This is not a Maintenance Scheduler position).

  • The candidate must be flexible to work on a variety of assignments and be able to work with other planners/schedulers and internal customer in a fast pace and changing environment.

Required Experience:

  • Critical Path Scheduling methodology experience

  • Proficiency in MS Office plus MS Project, Primavera or Open Plan – Open Plan preferred

  • Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development and maintenance experience

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to lead meetings and reviews

  • Understanding of EV to make sure proposals will be executable

  • Ability to comprehend schedule requirements and document them in a meaningful way

  • Secret Clearance

Required Skills:

  • Experience using planning tools (Open Plan preferred, other tools acceptable

  • Program Master/Scheduling Experience.

  • Aerospace/Aviation (preferred)

  • Understanding of scheduling Agile methodology ideal

Education:

  • BS+9-15 YRS or MS+7-13 YRS
