PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a Technician - Electro/Mechanical in Glendale, AZ
Job Description:
Candidates must be fully vaccinated for COVID19
Technician will be required to perform the following:
Conduct electrostatic discharge (ESD) testing of chairs, workbenches, and ESD wrist straps, conduct air quality tests for airborne particulates using specialized equipment on a moment's notice, test and record the results of air flow in clean hoods, explosive proof hoods, and paint spray booths.
Responsible for conducting area safety inspections.
Accuracy is paramount.
Must be able to lift up to 35lbs.
Electro/static discharge measurement and controls is beneficial.
Heavy recordkeeping/organizational skills.
Required Skills
- Precise, accurate, and timely record keeping abilities a must. Must be able to climb ladders for brief periods potentially multiple times per day.
Required Education
- High school graduate with 3-5 years of related work experience.
Required Years of Experience
- 3-5 years of successful experience in light industrial/office/lab settings and in a non-hazardous environment
Desired Skills
- Electro/static discharge measurement and controls is beneficial.
Desired Education
- Associate degree a plus.
Desired Years of Experience
- 7-10 years
