PDS Tech Inc QA Technician in Grand Island, New York

PDS is seeking candidates for a QA Technician position in Grand Island, NY

Upholds departmental standards as required in a GMP environment

Aids in the management of the site Quality Management System, including: CAPA process and complaint handling

Initiates, administers, executes, implements and monitors all aspects of change control for custom and catalog product.

Drives a culture of continuous improvement by employing Practical Process Improvement concepts.

Reports all non-compliance and supports, engages in and potentially leads teams assigned to making improvements.

Provides feedback and coaching to team members and supporting teams on daily work basis.

Multi-tasks efficiently in a high paced environment.

Focuses on team objectives to meet customer expectations

Communicates effectively and professionally to all levels of the organization.

Supports training and cross-training efforts for team development and for commercial and manufacturing operations.

Minimum Qualifications (must have):

3-5 year’s work experience in a GMP manufacturing environment, or combination of experience and education.

High degree of proficiency in writing and review of documentation and reports.

Ability to multi-task in high paced environment, prioritize and process multiple workflows and projects.

Skills include effective communication and organizational management of priorities, problem solving, work independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Behaviors include professional demeanor, highly motivated, and team orientated.

Excellent computer skills: display specific expertise in Excel, LIMs, Agile, E1, Trackwise and Specification Index.

Preferred Qualification (nice to have)

Bachelors degree or certification in science related studies.
