PDS Tech Inc Compliance Specialist in Grand Prairie, Texas

PDS Tech is seeking a Compliance Specialist in Grand Prairie, TX

Summary:

  • Conducts regular security patrols during assigned shift.

  • Monitors employee shift changes.

  • Investigates and writes reports on accidents, incidents, suspicious activities, safety and fire hazards and other security-related situations. Member of the Safety Committee.

  • Provides assistance to customers, visitors and employees.

  • Controls access to the building during assigned shift.

  • Monitors building activity via security monitor system.

Schedule: 3rd Shift - 11:00PM – 7:00AM Tues-Sat

Based on operational need. Candidate must be able to work overtime, which will include weekends, holidays and/or a different shift with limited or no advance notice.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Working knowledge of security operations and safety practices.

  • Must be dependable; have excellent attendance

  • Ability to perform duties in a professional manner.

  • Ability to make independent decisions within policy and procedures.

  • PC skills at the beginner level.

  • Ability to understand and speak English at a proficient level.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Ability to successfully work as a member of a team with a diverse make-up.

  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with staff

Experience/Education/Training Requirements

  • 3-6 months of security experience preferred

  • Violation-free FDIC record.

  • Monitors employee temperature-taking.

  • Ability to lift, push and/or carry up to 25 lbs

  • Ability to regularly sit and/or stand for long periods of time

  • Ability to occasionally bend/stoop
