PDS Tech Inc Business Systems Analyst in Greensboro, North Carolina

General Summary:

The Business Systems Administrator provides support to the Customer Service team by undertaking a broad and diverse set of initiatives. Primary duties include the generation of aircraft reliability and department metric reports. Additional data analysis will be required in order to support cost-of-operation and profit analysis of department products and services. Output will include business cases, presentations, and competitive assessments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides aircraft reliability, warranty and maintenance program cost, cost of operation, inventory usage, and competitive analysis information to department leadership as necessary.

  • Participates in the development of Microsoft Excel models that calculate aircraft and component performance, reliability and cost of operation.

  • Develop Power Point presentations to brief overall data.

  • Gathers and assembles department metrics and generates reoccurring reports and dashboards.

  • Identifies gaps in data output to provide feedback on system and process improvement.

  • Assists in the development and maintenance of customer service collateral library, ensuring all information is current and accurate.

  • Collaborates with other internal departments to attain information to fulfill reliability analysis.

  • Facilitates intra-divisional data reporting.

  • Assists team members on other activities as required.

Education, Work Experience, Certification and/or Licensure:

  • Bachelors' degree in from a four year college or university; Aerospace, Business, Engineering or Math preferred.

  • Must proficient with Power point and excel.

  • Data Mining experience needed.

  • Previous project management experience is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of the aerospace logistics and metrics.

  • Strong knowledge of aircraft performance and operational costs.

  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products (Demonstrated experience with Excel and Power Point) required; proficiency in SAP preferred.

  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.

  • Ability to research and interpret technical information, complex ideas and concepts and present information to audiences of all levels of understanding.
