12 month Contract with possible extensions. Must be a US Citizen. Have an Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain a US DoD Security Clearance to (Post Start) to qualify.

As a Software Engineer on this team you will embrace a common technical vision and develop software that will meet the product functional requirements and design constraints. In this role you will be a self-directed member of development team and contribute to the design, implementation and testing of the product.

  • The software we develop will monitor and assess aircraft fault data to provide flight deck and maintenance personnel with appropriate information for assessing the health of the aircraft. There will be both on-board (semi-real-time to real-time) and off-board functionality to this software.

  • Prior experience in developing software products in a complex system is critical to success in this role. These software products will support both commercial and defense aircraft platforms.

Prerequisites:

  • Bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification.

  • The ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (post-start)

  • Experience developing large scale, complex software systems

  • Developing software and architectures in a complex system

  • Experience developing software in an agile environment

  • Hands on experience developing software in C++ and/or Java

  • Working with embedded, real-time software
