PDS Tech Inc Technical Data Designer 3 - Secret in Heath, Ohio

PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a Technical Data Designer in Heath, OH.


  • Develops all publication elements for all levels of maintenance for a new or fielded major equipment system or multiple sub systems. Collects, researches and analyzes source data. Identifies source data inaccuracies and takes corrective action. Develops technical publication project plan, budget and baseline schedules. Conducts peer reviews of completed publication elements. Participates in or conducts customer technical and program reviews.

  • This position is responsible for creating operational documentation for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) test equipment and developing the best way to capture changes to existing documentation as we overhaul that equipment to reduce or eliminate obsolescence for each system. The MinuteMan-III (MM-III) was fielded in the late 1990's and is planned to be retired after 2038. Much of the client's Guidance and Repair Center (BGRC)'s test equipment will need to be updated to be viable for the next 15 years. This position will monitor identify, satisfy and validate requirements for test equipment documentation that is in need of overhaul.

Education / Experience:

  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
