PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking candidates for a People and Organization Development Coordinator position in Herndon, VA.

Flexible Hybrid Work schedule

Position Summary:

As a member of the Develop team, the People & Organization Development Coordinator, (PODC) will support various areas of the Develop Center of Expertize. Delivering high level of accuracy and efficient support to a number of specialisms contained in the CoE. Including Talent Management, Workforce Development and Capability, Resource Review, Employee Engagement and Culture Development, Company Values campaigns, Leadership University, Inclusion & Diversity and general administrative duties within the team.

In addition the PODC will be responsible for running the Company NA Service award program, the Peer award program as well as the CEO award program.

Activities to include:

Rewards & Recognition

  • Manage Company reward and recognition programs including Service Awards, Peer Awards and CEO Awards. NA regional focal point for Company Awards for Excellence.

Talent Management & Workforce Development

  • Management of data and focal point for collection of 9 box succession plans, video creations.

  • Creating presentations and supporting facilitation of meetings

  • Partner with Director of Talent Management NA to include the full region in the Talent Review process.

  • Maintain and coordinate distribution of competence management dashboard

  • Support Competence Assessment and competence & development reviews / audits

Employee Engagement, Culture Development and Change Management

  • Support the adoption of flexible working policy

  • Support employee engagement and change management activities including the Company engagement survey

  • Support activities focused on increasing awareness of the Company Values across the North America region.

Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:


  • Minimum associates degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience


  • 3 plus years of business experience required

  • 2 plus years of experience managing projects


  • Certifications or working to gain certifications in Human Resources and Project Management preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities:

  • Experience of running interactive sessions in Zoom or Google Meet

  • Manage virtual training sessions

  • Deal with invoices and external vendors

  • Effectively manage multiple priorities

  • Project management success

Communication Skills (Spoken, Written, Influencing, Proficiency in Other Languages):

  • Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English, with a strong ability to handle detail and deliver accurate work in a timely manner

  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences

  • French, German, or Spanish language skills are highly desired but not a requirement

Travel Required:

  • < 10% Domestic

With the exception of the VIE program, there is significant overlap between the above listed team components. In order to accomplish the goals of the Develop team, the PODC will work across all these areas to support the team.

Involved communication on a daily basis with internal and external parties

Physical Requirements:

  • Candidate should be comfortable working at a computer for extended periods of time in an office environment

  • Candidate should be able to attend relevant conventions and corporate outreach opportunities, which may occur outside on uneven surfaces and require overnight travel.
