If you have 5+ years of experience as an Implementation Engineer Lead and have delivered IT Transformation Projects for desktop upgrades to Windows 10 and Office 2016 / 365 from conception to implementation this is a fantastic opportunity for you!

About the Role:

  • Manage the implementation of Windows 10 virtual and physical desktop upgrade (approx. 4000 devices).

  • Assisting end users during the “In Place Upgrade” or upgrade to Windows 10 via “Bare Metal” Build approach

  • Act as the first point of contact for deployment engineers and users , post upgrade

  • Remediate issues as of when they arise or log and pass the issue onto the correct resolver team.

  • Co-ordinate the engineers daily tasks in line with the deployment schedule and first line of escalation for engineers.

  • Image deployment and working with SCCM in a client-facing type environment

About You:

  • Strong experience in SCCM, re-imaging and image deployment as well as troubleshooting and remediation.

  • Expert knowledge of delivering applications using various deployment methods, including SCCM and virtualization tools such as AppV and MSI Technologies

  • Application life cycle management from initial assessment through to retirement.

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services and Group Policies as they relate to end user devices and applications.

  • Good knowledge of tracking assets using discovery methods with SCCM, AD, IP Range .

  • Asset management including documentation and audit trace-ability .
