PDS Tech is seeking a SYstems Engineer in Indianapolis, IN

Job Descriptions:

Supports systems integration, technical design, model based design, systems analysis for supportability and effectiveness of technological systems, systems analysis for safety of system, systems research, systems verification or validation planning, architecture development, and requirements for commercial, industrial and governmental purposes. Integrates system activities to support the aforementioned tasks. Integration and analysis applies to the greater systems, interfaces between the systems and subsystems, and systems and components.


This role supports the design, development and qualification of Residential Air Conditioners and Heat Pumps. The candidate will have responsibility for the following in addition to adhoc assignments as needed.

-Collaborate with lab technicians to complete performance testing, reliability testing and regulatory testing requirements

-Partner with manufacturing to ensure manufacturability requirements are documented and accounted for in the design. Facilitate a smooth transition to manufacturing for new designs

-Give support for product quality assurance and issues solving


-Effective communication, written and verbal, with a globally diverse audience

-Understands of heat transfer, fluid dynamics and thermodynamics

-Experience implementing design of experiments and data analysis technique

-Proficient with Microsoft; Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Word

-Self-starter with ability to learn quickly

-Experience working in a team environment

-Organized with strong attention to detail


-Complete discrete tasks to meet design and project objectives

-Apply expert knowledge of Mechanical, Chemical, or Materials engineering

-New product launch support from quality perspective


-Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 2-5 years of applicable experience
