PDS Tech Inc Maintenance Technician in Indianola, Pennsylvania

PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Indianola, PA.

Position Summary:

  • This position is a Technician position responsible for the overall operation and upkeep of custom production equipment and automation which includes performing mechanical and electrical maintenance repairs, troubleshooting and solving advanced technical problems, adhering to Product Quality and safety standards, and completing technical documentation per requirements in a regulated, cleanroom manufacturing environment.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Works under supervision and collaborate with engineers and higher- level technical staff to conduct and document identified technical activities.

  • This position directly impacts supply center financials and product gross margin in ensuring that production related equipment is achieving standard performance rates.

  • This position directly impacts the ability to achieve planned production output ensuring customer replenishment demand is met.

  • This position ensures adherence to quality system standards and that production related equipment produces product that is within specifications.

  • This position will provide technical training and guidance to more junior operational personnel in the manufacturing department.

  • This position will directly support safe operation of equipment in the manufacturing environment.


  • Education Minimum Requirement: HS/GED Education Preferred if different from above: Associates Degree or 2-year trade/military school

Skills & Competency Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years technical experience

  • Possesses the analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve basic technical problems.

  • Conducts & documents technical activities typically identified by more experienced staff.

  • Demonstrates effective communication skills both orally and written

  • Demonstrates ability to handle ambiguous situations independently

  • Demonstrates high standard for quality of work and attention to detail

  • Demonstrates ability to complete work assignments with minimal supervision

  • Demonstrates ability to effectively cope with change

  • Demonstrates ability to work as part of a team


  • Experience working in FDA and ISO regulated industries

  • Experience working within a controlled cleanroom manufacturing environment

  • Experience with SAP

  • Experience with preventative maintenance programs and systems

  • Experience with providing or delivering technical training

  • Experience with OSHA regulations including LOTO and Arc Flash requirements
