PDS Tech Inc Process Control & Automation Team Lead in Irving, Texas

PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a Process Control & Automation Team Lead in Irving, TX.

The Process Control and Automation Team Lead will work closely with a team of analysts and application developers. This position provides the successful candidate an opportunity to become a key team player offering leadership and technical expertise supporting the client's global enterprise business solution. This position will assist in leading development teams to improve and automate business and operational processes.


  • Manage day-to-day workload, efficiency, and prioritization for the new Process Control & Automation team

  • Communicate and work to resolve issues that interfere with meeting project goals

  • Improve collaboration and consistency of the team through training, documentation, and system development activities

  • Work with Supervisors and Project Leads to prioritize development activities and identify areas of automation and process improvement and adherence

  • Provide technical expertise and assistance with ERP, MES, and process control activities

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5 or more years of experience in software development & deployment, or related activities, with an emphasis on leading enterprise level projects and teams

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrated problem-solving and process management skills

Detailed Selection Criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields.

  • Basic understanding of FlexDeploy, Azure Pipeline, or other platforms for Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and Release Automation

  • Technical experience in administration of Jira or other software solutions for issue and project tracking

  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for process automation

  • Working knowledge of waterfall and agile development methods

  • Demonstrated technical leadership and influence

  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems, implement and improve processes
