PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a Testing Automation Analyst in Irving, TX.
Direct Hire position.
Work closely with team of analysts and application developers. This position provides the successful candidate an opportunity to become a key team player offering technical expertise supporting business solutions. This position will assist the Business Technology team by developing automated test scripts for business and operational processes.
Develop and execute scripts for new and existing application features using our Automation Testing Tool – Tosca. Work with Supervisors and Project Leads to prioritize development activities and identify areas of automation and process improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in planning and developing strategies for testing and automation. Communicate and work to resolve issues that interfere with meeting project goals. Responsible for recording, logging, and tracking defects in the system and coordinating resolution with the Triage team and functional leads. Provide technical expertise and assistance with ERP, MES, and process control activities.
Project related overnight travel as needed.
2+ years of relevant professional experience in the field of functional Testing.
1+ years of Automation Testing experience with tools such as Tosca, Selenium, or UFT. Proficient with at-least one Programming language such as Java, Python, C#, or equivalent.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated problem-solving and process management skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
Advanced understanding of Panaya, Tosca, or other platforms for continuous Integration,
Continuous Delivery, and release automation Technical experience in administration of Jira, Panaya, Tosca, or other software solutions for issue and project tracking
Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for process automation
Demonstrated ability to solve problems, implement and improve processes
