PDS Tech Inc Electronics Technician in Kansas City, Missouri
Electronics Technician (Temp-to-Hire)
Location: Kansas City, MO
Pay: $24/hour
Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Friday overtime as needed)
PDS Tech is seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our team on a temp-to-hire basis. In this role, you will provide technical expertise in evaluating, testing, and troubleshooting non-conforming products. You will be working with analog and digital circuits, performing component-level troubleshooting, and interpreting schematics.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues using appropriate test equipment.
Conduct tests on both unit and PCB levels.
Interpret and work from schematics, drawings, and technical specifications.
Modify products on a technical level as needed.
Complete electronic documentation with accurate typing skills.
Work independently with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
Associate’s Degree or Certificate in Electronics Technology or equivalent training/experience.
Strong understanding of analog and digital circuits.
Ability to troubleshoot down to the component level.
Excellent soldering skills (through-hole and surface mount).
Proficiency with test equipment such as Digital Volt Meters, Frequency Counters, Spectrum Analyzers, etc.
Computer skills for technical documentation and testing.
Must pass a Technician Test.
Other Requirements:
Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and technical documents.
Strong technical writing skills for internal and external reports.
Clear communication skills to collaborate with engineers, customers, and coworkers.

Pay Details: $24.00 per hour
