PDS Tech Inc Maintenance Mechanic - Level 3 in Kenosha, Wisconsin
PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking US - Maintenance Mechanic - Level 3 to work at the Pleasant Prairie, WA.
The successful candidate will have advanced working knowledge of equipment found in an industrial manufacturing setting.
Advanced troubleshooting and repair capabilities of AC/DC electrical circuits, up to 480V, is required.
Those capabilities include, but are not limited to motors, drives, tuning, configuration, and calibration, circuit boards, PLCs, wiring, electrical hardware such as contactors and circuit breakers, etc...
A strong aptitude in pneumatic/hydraulic systems such as: cylinders, control valves, and modular manifolds are also required.
Provide advanced troubleshooting on electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Read and interpret electrical and mechanical prints.
Make timely and accurate repairs.
Drive improved equipment efficiencies through effective root cause analysis.
Use various hand tools and electrical testing equipment.
Perform routine tasks such as preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment.
Train peers and co-workers on equipment function, repair, and inspection.
Assist operators with machine setup requirements.
Make minor building repairs.
Support the needs of the business and general work requirements as assigned.
Develop skills to advance into a higher-level position.
Follow all safety procedures and work in a fast-paced team environment.
Minimum of Associated Degree in technical field, or enrolled in technical degree program
Advanced working knowledge and root cause troubleshooting capabilities of equipment found in an industrial manufacturing setting.
Proficient use of computers; Microsoft Word and Excel; CMMS
Proficient written and verbal communication skills
Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial electro-mechanical maintenance, including PLCs
Meet or exceed annual goal expectations
Fabrication skill: Machining and welding Opportunity for contract-to-hire based on worker performance, worker attendance and dependability and client business needs.
Worker will utilize Oracle for weekly time reporting. Your attention to this process will eliminate delays in receipt of worker hours and invoice creation.
Candidates must have an advanced working knowledge of mechanical systems and be able to troubleshoot and make repairs at a high level.
Experience in operating shop equipment such as lathes, mills, grinders, drill presses, etc and the ability, or aptitude, to fabricate and weld.
Candidates should be well rounded and have a deep understanding of the electro-mechanical relationship in modern industrial automation and robotics.
