PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking Desktop Support in Center, WV.
Tier I and Tier II user support and problem solving
Performs troubleshooting and root cause analysis to quickly recover from service interruptions and prevent recurring issues.
Installs, configures and maintains computer hardware, peripherals and applications consistent with IT standards and processes.
Works with other IT team members to develop technical design of desktop/laptop technologies, and coordinates and implements desktop related projects as required.
Performs system or network administrative functions back-up activities.
Uses Help Desk/Tracking System to document issues and resolutions.
Establishes strong working relationships with vendors and other infrastructure and security support teams to collaborate and adhere with standards across the enterprise.
Develops/maintains support document for use by all levels of support personnel as well as end-user documentation.
Maintains hardware/software inventory and ensures licensing compliance.
Provides off hour on-call support when required.
Perform monthly maintenance on unclassified systems including install Microsoft patches, Anti-Virus and perform system/baseline audits.
Active Directory administration (Permissions, domain adds/edits).
Network trouble-shooting (check ports, patch-thru’s, basic port-config).
